Artist's Comments

I was in the New Britain Museum of American Art today to see the famous works of John Langdon (most importantly, his famous ambigrams which some of you might recall from the book "Angels & Demons" By Dan Brown.) who has inspired me to think of ordinary words on such a different level. I came across this piece and took a picture... it wasnt untill i got home that i realized i was in it. I made sure i was at an angle so i wouldnt be in it... quite strange. Perhaps I was meant to be in it...hence the painting.

Give credit where credit is due.... Painting by John Landon.

The burden of your pain is a cross that you take up daily, God never lets our crosses be bigger than we are strong.

I love John Langdon. Ambigrams are amazing. I love how Langdon made the top half of the e look like an eye.

I am sure you can imagine how I felt when I learned of his exhibit in a local museum :) His works are by far my favorite. Seeing them in person is a whole different story! I feel lucky to have been able to walk through his art and have the freedom to snap some photos! Thanks for the comment ;)
